All that's missing is the crash-cymbal at the end. You don't need the shimmery Wurlitzer sound & compulsory tremulant.

Have to say I was disappointed - they are OK outside (your video seems to have brought them out well), but rather poor inside, and feel a bit unloved. Shame - they could be fantastic.....

The organ is currently being restored. It was discovered shortly after this video in 2011 that the blower had been rewired incorrectly so there wasn't sufficient wind being produced.

More baloney from you...unless in the last year someone gave them the 80 grand for a new frame, and they were rehung the opposite way under the cover of darkness; these are, and always have been, clockwise

When I saw YAMAHA HC 4 being demonstrated by Glynn Madden, I fell in love with his BLACKPOOL SOUND. I have just returned from holiday in YARMOUTH. I had visited THE BAYGONE VILLAGE that had a small THURSFORD set up. Glynn was using your DIAPASON registration with tweaks for vibrato with strings. I never realised this when I bought the instrument - the sounds labelled THEATRE ORGAN where the KLAUS WUNDERLICH type !

I can tell you that it is IMPOSSIBLE to get a full theatre organ version of TIGER RAG anywhere. In all my years of playing I have only seen a very basic version. I believe you have to make up your own arrangement from stratch. And you prove all to able to do that !

To all music appreciation fans . . . The BLACKPOOL SOUND is to do with adding extra notes to existing melody and chords. The original sound of the first WURLITZER was too quiet to be heard when the ballroom was full. REGINALD DIXON created a better larger louder instrument installed in 1935. The extra magical notes were created by HARMONIC COUPLERS. On electronic organs, we have a similar idea invented by Lowery called AUTOMATIC ORGAN CHORD. KLAUS WUNDERLICH also used WERSI version of the system. Even KEN GRIFFIN had to play his melody notes doubled an octave apart - the same idea on HAMMOND that never had the system ! In the orchestra world GLENN MILLER got his special SOUND by arranging similar - saxophones and muted trumpets sandwiched between clarinet and tenor Sax one octave apart. In the vocal band world - CHAS & DAVE cockney voices fit together in a pleasing similar harmonic way too.

Another spot-on tune - the organ pipes are as good as WURLITZER ones. I'm truly in love with your playing and arranging - you can play a lot of the greats ! Nice to see the magical notes playing themselves by COUPLERS - the secret to professional BLACKPOOL playing.

Nice playing - I'm very interested in hearing electric old theatre-like organs. This one isn't all that good - a bit on the thin side - even if it is clapped out ! ! !

In this we get to see your face more. Brilliant - you have made my day. But you must get your talent seen by more people. You are among the very best in the UK on any pipe organ - with an incredible ear for arrangement. Most people cannot read music - and improvise with a pig's ear in music ! ! !

Smashing . . . more unusual BLACKPOOL numbers - that I don't really listen to that often. Now, you sound really REGINALD DIXON with good registration choices. And that proves you really are someone special.

This is why I love CINEMA ORGANS so much. Your arrangement was slightly better on the FW. But you are a fine player nevertheless - and probably better than many concert organists today. Love that high screech that this tune needs so much ! ! !

You are the equal of REGINALD DIXON and PHIL KELSALL without a doubt. The arrangement and harmonics are so spot on. This is how you play an organ !

I've seen this video before, and was extremely impressed. This is the reason I love WURLITZER and pipe organs. The thing is this registration, arrangement and the style is so perfect. I was so bowled over I really didn't take it in that you are the carbon copy of PHIL KELSALL. You even bounce along to it in the same manner ! Frankly, after REG and PHIL - you are the best in the entire UK at that tune. I also think you've slightly better than MRS. MILLS at playing it . . .
