David Johansen is a very unique and interesting singer. I remember seeing him on TV back then and thinking that he looked like Mick Jagger, but his style is very much his own. I almost chose to show “Killer” too because it was the first thing I thought of. Good call, Sean. What a great year for music. Anyway I really enjoyed this video. I’m sure Morten will like it too if you alerted him of it. Cheers! Jeff

Great video, Pirates of the Caribbean is a keystone of my childhood. However, for me it's very sad they didn't portrayed the Spanish, nor any other of the European powers acting in the Caribbean during the first three movies. Although I loved how they portrayed the Spanish in the 4th movie, I would have love better to see thw French or the Spanish (not just the pirates) trying to challenge Beckett's power

There are likely hidden tracks or “easter eggs” on some of my CDs and DVDs but they’re likely to stay hidden because I rarely listen to or view readily accessible “bonus” material (except for the case of Dylan’s awesome “Bootleg Series”), much less go hunting for it. Haha! Interesting video. Thanks, Sean.

hi mate I'm making something similar to this I was just wondering how you made tracks live scarlet and sheba etc sound live?
@CaretakerWanted6 күн бұрын
Aw man I’m going to have to fiddle around to see what I did, haha. But, I used Adobe Premiere Pro and incorporated one or some of the audio effects they have. I’ll look back and get to you in a bit about what exactly I did 👍

From looking over Adobe, I gather that I incorporated the Essential Sound tab with the "From the Radio" preset and changed some of the volumes to my liking. Then, I used the parametric equalizer and had the preset "Voice Enhancer." Finally, I used the Notch Filter. It seems that Adobe has updated some of those layouts and configurations because they are not exactly what I remember. But those closely resemble what I did to make those tracks sound live. You can also do what I did and change the volumes and pitches to your liking.
@CaretakerWanted5 күн бұрын
- You can also utilize "Surround Reverb," which also gives you a list of audio effect options, like how the Essential Sound tab does.

Ya ever notice the sucking of a dummy sound effect on DaDa that drips like a tap all the way through it...some spooky shit. Dick Wagner confirmed in an interview not long before he passed its Go Buck and Buck and make a Buck and it was never fuck and Formely Warmer was originaly called formely Warner as it was Alice's last album signed to Warner Brothers also confirmed by Dick. The drums were a mixture of live drumming and programmed drums.

I always love to see how people react to TBB. They're a divisive band for sure, but something truly special and creative as all hell. One of my top favorite artists, honestly, but I can see how they're not for everyone. I suggest listening to their 4th album, "Crimes," as it's much more accessible, with less harsh vocals and more of a pop-influenced sound, but still incredibly zany and unique. If you're looking for a post-hardcore band with a "softer" feel that exemplifies the genre and uses screams to punctuate clean vocals, as you say you enjoy, I recommend Thursday. Their album "Full Collapse" is a classic.

Human Touch, Soul Driver and With Every Wish were the only good songs on the Human Sucks album. The rest were just polished up crap. Just simply add those to Lucky Town and take out The Big Muddy and you get one of the best Albums of 1992. By 1991-92 the music scene had changed dramatically after Nirvana hit and the very awesome but overdone grunge movement became mainstream. An album like Human Touch was just a sad joke of overproduced 80s music that made Springsteen look outdated and behind the curve which cost him most of his post The River street Cred as a major star and made him look like a relic of the 1980s to a lot of music fans and hid fan bsse hss been declining ever since. Lucky Town on its own with the 3 songs I listed, would've been a hit and cemented Springsteen as a part of the 90s as much as the 70s and 80s but he blew it and his dramatic return was a total bomb and both albums tanked along with the their accompanying tour. With the exception of Streets of Philadelphia and the hoopla surrounding American Skin/41 shots, Springsteen was basically irrelevant in that decade outside of his hardcore fans and it wasn't until The Rising that he regained some of that lost ground with casual music fans. By no means am I knocking him but Lucky Town was more stripped down and in step with the times and the Human Sucks was just a glossed over clump that should've been flushed and not cluttering the airwaves like the raw sewage it was.

Now I know why I'm not much a fan of "Hold Me, Touch Me". Your explanation is on point. Paul tried to write a ballad like "Beth". And "Beth" is (for me) not KISS. Paul's solo album is my favourite1️⃣ Ace is #2 (he is vocally🎤 and emotionally❤️weaker than Paul). Gene and Peter are good 👍 but not ambitious enough.
