oh my goodness, I made this tonight. I didn’t have any enchilada sauce so I sort of made my own up. I did not use tinfoil because I like that well cooked cheese and I have to say this was absolutely delicious! I did not expect it to turn out as well as it did. I will be making this again and again. I went back for seconds. It was so good and the second time I added chimichurri sauce on top. Next level delicious.

But you don’t want heat blowing on your dough so you don’t want it where the furnace heater is blowing on a counter onto your dough it will dry the dough out

Pro tip never bust an egg into your ingredients. Yeah get a piece of egg shell in there and you’re gonna have to be digging around for it or you never even see it and someone eats. It always bust your egg into a container, inspect it and then dump it into your mix.

White chocolate burns very easily in the microwave, it might be better to use a double broiler. It's easy to make one with a small pot and a bowl that fits inside the pot, but doesn't touch the bottom of the pot. The flavor cominations for this is endless. I might use dark chocolate chips with strawberry frosting, or chocolate & mint. You could probably also add extracts for more options. Yum

Chopped candied fruit or chopped dried fruit would be good. Could you use maraschino cherries if you blotted them dry and chopped them up, using chocolate chips and chocolate frosting? Kinda like chocolate covered cherries.

This soup is so incredibly good! I’ve been making your soup probably once every two weeks for the last year. I make a double batch. I have a whole bunch of individual servings in the freezer. I add a jalapeño chopped up to my onions and carrots, etc. my sister makes the soup all the time too. We both absolutely love it!

Just took mine out of the oven and they are cooling. Can't wait to taste ! While they were rising, I had a problem come up. They were risen almost to the edge of my loaf pans, then they caved in before going into the preheated oven. They are smaller/shorter loaves then expected, but the taste is fantastic ! Didn't toast for my first bite, but would really taste good toasted. So much better then having like a bread toast.... Thank you for sharing !

Try adding a tablespoon of vital wheat gluten (available on amazon) to the flour. Your flour might be a little low on protein - it can vary from season to season and brand to brand AND part of the world to part of the world. :)

I finally made this fruitcake. I did have my reservations mainly the omission butter (lol) but this turned out to be wonderful and the best part is it gets better in flavor with age--especially after lightly glazing it with rum every three weeks or so. This reminds me of my aunt's fruit cake bars she makes with vanilla wafers which are delicious too

I will try this for sure. Looks delicious! I love the fact it does NOT have spices in it. I DON’T care at all for nutmeg, cinnamon etc…that you often see in fruit cake recipes.
