Though I’m not saying this doesn’t happen, I think a lot of it is paranoia on the woman’s behalf. I know lots of guys and none of them would behave this way towards a woman. When we get together we talk about hobby based subjects, D.I.Y. art, music, never women. Even our partners aren’t mentioned (apart from ‘how’s such ‘n’ such?). Whenever I engage in conversation with women I’ve just met, either at work or out and about, I always feel the mistrust, like there’s the expectation of some kind of alternative motive for the conversation other than the subject at hand, or there is a kind of flirtatious response - like, I’M NOT CHATTING YOU UP! Ffs. Guys are generally silently dealing with their own private hell, the lack resources and understanding has led to a landslide majority of people choosing suicide being men. 80%.

It doesn't matter. The fact that men inflict violence on women makes women afraid. Just look at all the cases of male violence against women in the news lately. 90%+ of men are not the problem perhaps, but women have a legitimate reason to worry about their safety in our society.

I find it hard to believe that professional workers male or female would make sexual comments about a minor coming home from school!

I absolutely love how it's girls harassing a guy. We'd always think of the other way around when someone mentions sexual harassment.
