I bought a black on black 2017 XJL Portfolio in 2021 with 83k miles on it. The only other car I looked at was a 2021 Mazda 3 hatchback. They both cost EXACTLY the same amount of $$$. So which would you choose? The only reason i didnt buy the Mazda is because the dealer started screwing around with me the minute i walked in the door. In a whim, i stopped at a used car dealership on my way home from the Mazda dealer and found the Jag purely by accident. I sat in the drivers seat, and in 3 seconds, I knew i was going to buy it. I asked a friend of mine to guess how many miles she thought it had on it. She said 8k. The only suggestion i have is to make sure you know a reliable mechanic who can work on high end cars like this. DO NOT BRING IT TO A JLR DEALER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! They will charge you $4k for a $400 job, every time. I will NEVER sell this car! The only other issue i have with it is, i dont have a garage and this car really deserves one. The car looks like it should be parked in front of Downton abbey. I do NOT live in anything CLOSE to Downton abbey.
