Random question… When you run your icoa 18 system, how punchy are they? I know they are deep and clean, but how well do they move air? Looking at trying one out since the price is so good, just want to know if you can feel the bass. Great vid like always!

I put the polars on music mode, dj mode overpowers the mid bass, and to push some mids out of the dancefloor 2.3Khz plus 5db, save that setting ;)

@DJSolstice none, just flat from a pioneer console. Music mode everything at 0db except for the mids plus 5db at 2.3khz. They sound more natural that way and less processed. Oh btw, i have the french variant of these, audiophony mojo2000live. Same amp drivers dsp but a more sleek design and reverb built in on channel 1 and 2, big plus for example solo artist or akoustic guitar :)

Greetings from Reno nv I wanted to ask you how the bass of LD 18 and the mids of LD sound. I want to buy the Rcf art 945 and the subs 8004 but I see that you have already changed to LD. I hope you can help me. Thanks.

@@edgarjaramillo2437 the 945 is nuts, you’d need a bigger sub to handle those in my opinion. Otherwise they’re too harsh. The LDs have great bass for the price, deep and clean

Forget about the sub, love your pad bro. I myself only use RCF tops for their natural sound (Even the cheapest one's) + RCF 8004 subs. My QSC KS118 sub can't match the RCF 8004 especially where it matters 25Hz to 45Hz at plus or minus 3dB. QSC specs shows response at minus -6db response. The RCF is a beast.

The system is great but I've seen some Behringer mixer on the desk (🚨), maybe replace that with an Allen or some other brand ? Is not too bad but an Allen would provide much better signal and clarity, Berry sounds warm but fainted and can fail at some point. Remove that and all is perfect. 🙂

@@Agro_Tech_Future I tried a Zedi10 and hated it. Tried a bunch of analog mixers and to me the Behringer has the best sound. I also don’t like gain staging and prefer all line-level inputs
