I've been working on an outdoor crawler track for my 1/24 stuff. Channels like this really help me out. Thanks for sharing.

Dude, this course is an inspiration. My buddy and I make obstacles out of popsicle sticks and hot glue, super fun but…we gotta level up our game. Lol

I’m a fan of both. Sure, they’re different vibes, but your content is a vibe and super fun to watch regardless. If the handheld is easier to make then just stick with that! Maybe a happy medium is to mark the spots for a tripod at each feature, and film stationary style in one take then edit it down? Then you’d still have one file to futz with but could change back and forth as you want to. I’m not picky, love your course and style so no complaints here with whatever you decide to do!

I'm finally building an outdoor crawler track. Mainly for 1/24 and 1/18. And you are right, it's more effort than people think. I'm learning this right now, so yes, I agree.

You already have your own style of video. Either camera style is still capturing it. Always a good watch.

Good Morning! Thanks for another great crawl video. Both camera styles look great on your course! I look forward to more videos!

I'm here for the commentary. And watching those tires eat on the climbs, nice and slow....

I do enjoy them either way, but I do think I have a slight preference on the stills. I think it's because I like the forced perspective idea, and the level of detail you get, especially on a nice course like yours.

Always enjoy watching your vids, love your course and still camera style up close , sweet seeing the moment the tyres hook up . I miss the more challenging lines you have had in the past . Much love buddy .

Haha I'm not a Traxxas company fan, but they do make some great models. Probably the strongest plastics on the market too. Hate all their proprietary connections though

LOL, I'll take a firm handshake instead of the kissing ... LOL. -- By the way for great leaders it's not just any feedback ... it's quality critical feedback. --- I'm always happy to give you my thoughts Jacob, I know you appreciate them. -- I really enjoy the added effort with these type of videos. The locked down camera is more relaxed and calm to watch. And I can see the details of the climb (tires gripping, etc). That said, I love all your videos. -- I agree, you could mix .. that would be interesting. Or just do both when you're feeling it. -- Here's a thought ... what about mount a very small camera to the hood, or the bed (looking over the cab) to get the vehicle's perspective?? I've done that in my front yard and that looks pretty cool. -- Awesome video as always!

I'd say a combo of both. I think you do a great job. I'm hoping to build an indoor course one of these days. I got my Trx4m F150 because I watched your videos. It's pretty cool that you ask for feedback. You're a staple of the mini crawling world. I hope one day my content is as good as yours

I like both styles. A combination of both would be cool. I do dig the overhead shots. Maybe some moving overhead shots would look like drone footage? Maybe a playmobil person is flying a drone around your park?
@ryand47863 ай бұрын
Jacob , your videos always look cool in my opinion. Very scale looking course and lots of different rigs driving on it. Mix up the different camera styles , maybe find a spot outside once in awhile ? Keeps things interesting. Anyway , keep up the great work 👍

I do wonder if there's anyway the mini z 4x4 can be upgraded. Looks like it needs some brass over the front end.

I think mini z’s should not be tampered with. They aren’t for capability
