How to calculate underwater volume without Block Coefficient Dear sir....
@capt.ronirani56912 ай бұрын
for a ship-shaped vessel you need the block co-efficient. For a box-shaped vessel it is found by LxBxdraft

There is a lot of conflicting information on the internet regarding FEMA laws and that an Indian Seafarer ought to have NRE and an NRO account etc and you are 1000% right in this video. Could you please elaborate or make a video on how to remit funds to Indian Savings bank account without NRE account. As banks are extremely pushy and endorse we open atleast an Nre account to remit funds to India. Thanks
@capt.ronirani569110 ай бұрын
Hi... Good day... You are also right that banks pressurise individuals to open NRE accounts and also to convert their existing Resident savings account to NRO accounts... Nobody should succumb to this pressure from the banks... You should ask the bank to share with you their SWIFT code... Then you can go to any bank abroad and remit your funds to India into your Resident savings account without any issues

@@capt.ronirani5691 so it means that if we remit say 30 lakhs inr in normal savings account and stay outside india for 184 days , we are not liable to pay any tax. what about interest earned on savings account?

i have a doubt when one shifts cargo from cog 4 to next tank that will of cog 2 hence even that v. moments will have to be calculated therfore the new kg should be 7.95 is this correct coz even if we do by gg1 method for single transfer what will be the ( d )
@capt.ronirani5691 Жыл бұрын
I've reviewed you querry, The solution presented in the video is correct. It is not moving from cog 4 to cog 2. Instead it is from from 6 to cog 2, thus giving a d = 4m. Hope it helps your understanding of the problem.

Dear sir i have doubt , since we pumped out the water , G would go further up? From the old kg
@capt.ronirani56912 жыл бұрын
Consider 2 options: AA. Full DB tank being pumped out to empty BB. Slack DB tank being pumped out to empty AA. Full tank being pumped out to empty 1. As it is being pumped out, FSE will be temporarily experienced which will reduce the GM during the process. 2. At the same time, because the DB tank is below the ship's COG, the GM will reduce as the COG rises when it is being pumped out. 3. Once the tank is empty, the loss of GM will be negated. 4. The only of GM will now be because a weight below the COG of the ship was removed. BB. Slack DB tank being pumped out to empty 1. Being a slack tank, the ships already influenced by FSE 2. At the same time, because the DB tank is below the ship's COG, the GM will reduce as the COG rises when it is being pumped out. 3. Once the tank is empty, the loss of GM will be negated. 4. The only of GM will now be because a weight below the COG of the ship was removed.

Sir i have one doubt, I have to find out the centre of buoyancy of twin hull catamaran which consists of separate weight in separate parts in a catamaran, pls give me the solution to solve this!
@capt.ronirani56912 жыл бұрын
Hello Muthu, The Centre of Buoyancy for a ship [single hull or double-hull (catamaran)] can be found from the Hydrostatic Particulars of the ship against the draft. Having said that, from your question I think you mean the Centre of Gravity. The COG of the catamaran can be found by putting in values of the weight in the compartment concerned, being a catamaran (port or starboard hull) and calculating the KG of the ship. It mus be noted that if the weights are not evenly distributed between the two hulls, it would result in a "List"
