The f'ing camera operator just could not keep the focus on the leaders; instead, looking for the American schools lagging behind. I don't even know who won the race. Why bother even film the race, idiot?

Is forth place better than first, second, or third........I don’t know....... was Ian the winner???????? Please tell me it isn’t so. Snow flake championships......... winners bring up the rear .
@nohands68656 жыл бұрын
Well, the team that came in forth doesn't recruit athletes like the Jamaican schools, it is much more of an accomplishment to run 7:39 with 4 runners that happen to go to the same school. If the US did like Jamaica and had 3 power track schools the Jamaican teams would have gotten blasted. If you take the 4 US highschoolers ranked 47th, 48th, 49th and 50th as of last year in the 800, they would have ran 7:22 and crushed the competition. If you took the top 4 they would have ran 7:13 and it would have been a joke.

NoHands You are right......... I ran track in Newark New Jersey back in the early 70’s and we were getting blasted by them back then. It must be the water they drink. Peace.

Going back to 1976 when I first saw my first Penn relays till when I ran in 1980, then hearing it from countless coaches and fans right up till today....Jamaica has grown men running those races, produces no birth certificates and STACKS those schools with the cream of the country to run in Philadelphia in late April. In 1976 (and in 1980 when I ran) Jamaica would deliver a 'few' good teams and they'd win a relay here, there but NEVER dominate relay after relay, sometimes first through fourth place in every championship. It's not the coconuts or some old Soviet bloc coach settling in Jamaica to give that country special training methods. The government, in conjunction with those schools, is hiding birth certificates, stacking athletes into super squads; all in attempt to send those MEN into an American school on a full scholarship. Jamaica is a poor country that can not absorb all those people so.

Next time please keep the camera on the leader and not on your friend. Viewers want to see the winner as well as enjoy the video. Please be considerate when posting videos. No disrespect though. Thanks for posting.

That team was the boys he coaches. I was only here to see how they did. Beggars cant be choosers.

He took time out of his day to post this video to youtube, if you didn't enjoy watch it just go fuck off. If US Schools could recruit the top athletes in the country like Jamaican ones (Calabar, St Jago and Kingston College), the winner would have been a US power school running ~7:15 and absolutely crushing any team the jamaicans could muster
@rickardobraxford74565 жыл бұрын
@@jacobpringle1624 the way how he video the race might be similar to how he coach them hence no surprise why his team did so poorly. lol
@palootto40215 жыл бұрын
@@jacobpringle1624 There are no damn beggars here. People watch races to see who the winner is, and then congratulate the others. Next time, keep your selfish, or personal filming at home and share with your friends there. Don't post videos on KZbin if you fail to film the results that viewers expect. Nobody watches track races to see who loses.
@palootto40215 жыл бұрын
@@nohands6865 Yes, he took the time to post a rece in which we, the viewers, get to see the losers. Why even bother to post a personal video. People watch track races to see who wins -- not who loses.

It's difficult to beat Jamaican high school relay teams, we have good scouting and good coaching but it's mostly because these kids are running from poverty, running for their futures and running for their country. It is hard to beat that kind of motivation
@kirklanddavis19376 жыл бұрын
sally pooch if you know Jamaican high school student athletes and that their motivations are different than I stated please explain. Also my life is not so bad thankfully :-)
@donovantaylor31376 жыл бұрын
they are also running for their schools
@danglorules6 жыл бұрын
Running and winning for their school is the ultimate, they all want to go to Champs. Track is life in Jamaica so your comment Kirkland Davis is founded in ignorance.
@kirklanddavis19376 жыл бұрын
Gloria Smith I know some of these kids, you and whoever else can say what you want, freedom of speech. American high school student athletes run mostly as a hobby, Jamaican kids are trying to make it. Go ask one of them
@Caramelhoni6 жыл бұрын
Kirkland, I'm Jamaican, and I can say, your comment isn't totally off. Not all of those kids are from a poverty stricken backgrounds, but a lot of them are, they ran to better themselves and their families, to be the next Usain ⚡️ Shelly Anne Pryce, Elaine Thompson etc, and also for the immense pride of their country.
