mine is not charging at all. new alternator in the past 1000 miles and at that same time a new battery. im thinking it's something to do with the starter or wiring to the starter. I turn the key on and the 3 wire plug on the alternator I am getting 12.2 volts out of one 0 out of the other and 10.2 on the 3rd.. I am lost if that is normal or not I figure there is some connection issues.

@@linleyvanacore3036 it could be. I had to change my starter a couple years back. Get getting it boosted off thinking it was the battery or alternator but once the new starter was on it was good. They can be tricky sometimes

Yes, opt7 Underglow and some generic 90mm rings from eBay. You can use whatever RGB control box you like from eBay or Amazon for the halos

I have a 2008 impala LS. And it says engine hot ac off but isnt over heating. Happened once before i took batttery terminals off n reconnected n it fixed it til now. Now it died n i tried ro start it.. it turns over but acts like it isnt geting gas? Wont start????

@@torianngraham-4556 that might be two issues. The purge valve does that when it goes bad and has the car acting like it doesn't want to start. That's an easy fix though

Bro I got somebody trying to sell me one for 3,800 says its leaking coolant from the crossover pipes. How do i know if it hasn't got a blown head gasket already. He saying he recommend that have it towed so it doesn't overheat. Im want to buy it and have it fixed what do you recommend i do first?? I would appreciate your feedback

@@Michael187-u personally I probably won't ever buy another jaguar. If you have a bunch of extra money to put into it you can go for it. But that job at my local dealership was quoted for around $3k. And from what I've seen a replacement engine is over $10k. They're beautiful cars and drive real smooth but for me it's always a worry of it something breaks it's gonna cost an arm and a leg to get it back rolling

@Michael187-u I think my rear crossover pipe has a crack or something so I haven't been driving it. Gonna deal with it when it gets warm again. That's about what trade value would be for one that year in decent shape from what I've been seeing online

@@walker193356 be careful checking the linkage up front. Pulling up on the shifter too far can snap the cable. I just replaced the whole cable and that's a bunch of extra work

Usually the problem is a melted wire going to the sensor, melted by the catalytic converter.

I did both sensor and thermostat. Then a mechanic told me it’s a stronger temperature sensor so that’s why I’m still getting that engine hot demo

Great vid man and to the point. i would add is yes, you are supposed to have 2 t15s where you had missing screws and no need to remove the t15s you removed. The reason i pulled the assembly off is whenever i would open or close the trunk i heard a sound of something being stuck in trunk door which to my surprise were the two screws which you were missing and i was aswell missing in my application.
