From my male perspective this song saddens me... so much. After 5 1/2 years 2gether I'm about to break up with my now former sweet heart. I sobered up. Quit a horrible drug habit after 4 years... and after I sobered up I knew it was now time.... so sad this is happening... saying goodbye sucks. Best 4 me to just b a solo guy. Too old at 67.... some folks get lucky... other folks look for that luck their entire lives... & never find it.

Sometimes when you break it off with someone--or they unceremoniously dump YOU--you realize that you don't need your substance abuse at all anymore. You needed the fog to live with that person. They were the toxin--the drug was a mere symptom.

I had just discovered Dmitri, when I was told he had died. I felt totally cheated, having discovered the finest baritone, ever. His voice is not to be matched, so richly silken and deep. I have been converted to a baritone lover forever. I cannot conceive of your loss, since his love for you was so evident in the pictures with your dad. Know that there are many Dmitri lovers all over this earth and that love extends to you and your family, I’m sure. Bless you all. And thank you for sharing Dmitri with the world all these years.

I've a feeling if there was more time for preparation, she would've aced this song. The arrangement, unfortunately, was mediocre. Could've been a lot better. Gotta admit, being a huge fan of Diana and The World Is Not Enough (movie, song, Bond, Pierce Brosnan, era - which is where it ends), I had such high expectations. I hope she gives the song another shot!

С момента объявления о болезни очень пристально следила за Дмитрием, но тогда я еще мало знала про эту проклятую глиобластому.. 😢Пока не заболел папа... Дмитрия не стало, папы скоро 3 года, как нет, и как тяжело он уходил я не забуду никогда. Спасибо за то, что оставил столько прекрасной музыки, но без слез слушать не могу до сих пор!
