The body shell is done by killer body .

the body shell alone costs over a third the price of the kit . It is one of the good 10th scale RC rally cars out three . By the time you have put all the electronics in it it will be cost around the 600 mark . Best electronics as reguards the brushless motor and ESC for the LC RACING PTG-2R is the HOBBYWING 3665SD 4000KV BRUSHLESS MOTOR AND EZRUN MAX 10 G2 ESC . With the medium sized speed pinion for this particular PTG-2R chassis 60 - 66mph is easy to achieve and quite fast enough for this particular 10th scale RC rally car . I also have the LC RACING EMB range of RC'S , the rally car , the buggy , and the truggy . 5 of the rally cars , 2 of the buggy , and 2 of the truggy .

I did that same thing to my K979...How did you manage to keep it from sliding away from the spur gear??...I have my ties as tight as they can get and the stickiest 2 way tape there is but when I give it half throttle it move away from the spur gear...any suggestions?

I use one of those magnetic esb cables and just add a tiny drop of hot glue to the part that stays in the device. This way the port never breaks

Hey buddy great idea! Another option for you and others who's charging port broke you can buy a little 1s lipo battery charger off Amazon for about $8-$10 bucks and just open up the case and pop the battery out to charge it separately. I'm going to put something on the backside plate to make it easy to pull the case apart. Just giving you and others an option if they want to stay wireless for multiple vehicles. Both ways will definitely help 👌🏼🍻🍻

Great video!! Saved me alot. A little tip to others and you is to feed the wires through the hole Before you solder this way you don't need to modify the box 👍🏻👌🏼 Earned my sub for this tip! Also I wonder if it would be better to run a connecter to the balance lead on the lipo? Would that work you think? With that way you wouldn't need to unplug the stock fans on alot of escs. Cause that's what you will need to unplug to run this right? Thanks again bro!

Lol I was waiting to see how Kong it took bro to notice he started twisting without the heatshrink on any of the wire. Good content though 👍 probably be good to have a female adapter coming from the receiver if people have receivers in water proof cases if they use it for cars and rc's that have receivers in coward places so a female extension would be good to have also that was the extension will always stay in the receivers for whatever rc you use it in as a power supply . Just like a bind cord extension .

I'm glad I didn't do what I've seen about adding an external switch to save the battery and the problem of the connector in the charging port. This is the best solution I've seen and it's relatively easy to do. Thanks.
