Teal and orange (love the soft peachy shade) are an amzing color comination. I hope to find the perfect outfit or accessory to wear this season. Also, might just have to make my own clothes to acheive the effect I want. These bitonal creations remind me of my sister who used to draw portraits with only 2 or 3 colors. Theyre gorgeous and your creativity and technique are mesmerizing.

Finally I’m back. 😭✨ olomarker reached out to me and kindly asked if I would like to try their markers. I said yes, and put these markers through it. I did not go easy on these at all. I decided to see just how well these could perform by blending them like I would a painting. Expect with markers you don’t get a paint palette on the side, your drawing IS the palette. I layered complementary colors on top of each other, blue/orange & red/green to make the color I wanted. In traditional painting, if a color is too saturated you add just a pinch of the opposite color. So if my oranges were to saturated I added either a very pale blue shade, or cool gray. For the water I choose viridian green and layered red gray, red browns and even blue to add as much depth to the water as possible. ✨ The closer you can get complementary colors to each other the more visual tension you create. So by leaving hints of blue in the water, the oranges in her skin will appear more vibrant and as the drawing progress the weird grayish color in her skin shifts and appears as a skin tone. 💙🧡 this trick is also intensified because alcohol markers are transparent.
