So glad I found this video. Thinking about getting the SR-120 any advice or suggestions? It’s really tough to find a skimmer and a UV for the 120 being so big but no sump.

Hey there, I've had to replace that module on 3 of my 832's. All fixes worked successfully. Only thing I did different was I removed the circuit board completely from the casing. It's the only way I could get to the solder points cleanly. The issue I had was that I would toggle the switch on and off, the lights would go on and off but the power would not cycle. Wonder if you remover the board out of the case to see if you got a clean solder done?
@queencityreefs12 күн бұрын
So it turns out that it may have been something completely different or there was something else on top of that. I did a short video on it. But it is all back up and running 🙌

Oh, I know. Gotta figure this one out though. I'm starting to think that it may also be the brain unit. I decided to plug one thing to each of the lit up outlets and they work! So thinking the head unit is not sending the command to the bar. We shall see. May be a part 2 soon.

I have also heard the black worms are irresistible to cbbs, I was very fortunate and when I got mine from the lfs it was already eating frozen brine shrimp like a little heathen. Mine picks at the rocks too quite a bit but the shrimp are its main cuisine. Im also very fortunate as I have a black widow anemone, 2 rock flowers, and 2 white bubble tips and so far it completely leaves my anemones alone. I think I just was extremely fortunate and got a keeper. I saw in the comments one of them unfortunately passed but the other is doing well. That is great! Cbbs are notorious for not surviving tank life so having one of two make it is doing alright boss! Blessings to the fish and one more thing... you started the video by explaining youve been absent from posting videos because you've been busy with your kids. That comment earned my like and subscribe. Dad first! Well done sir! Positive vibes to you and yours! 🏴☠️

That should be the case when you calibrate your dosing pump based off what is pushed out on the reactor end.

You need like 90 to 100 psi into the membrane. Supply line goes into the sediment carbon block and looses pressure. Then pump water upto 90psi into the ro membranes.
@queencityreefsАй бұрын
They don't even state that in the instruction that they sent. I'll try that. There was still room for more.

I have the opposite effect - cyano on the sand but not on the rocks. I have the caribsea rock, but some of it is like 7 or 8 years old, when they first released the shapes. So maybe the formula changed or I cycle thru the issue over time. Sorry about the fish losses man. That sucks! Wrasses need lots of oxygen but I am not sure about butterflyfish.
@queencityreefsАй бұрын
Yeah. I don't think the rock is the issue with the cyanobacteria. It had me thinking for sure but never had an issue with it before. I'm going to let it run its course.
