Still come back to listening to Riptide when I should be practising my own chorus songs! Hopefully they'll come back together and sing because they are so loved in the Southeastern Harmony District.

Quartets like this make me think BHS should relax their amateur rule. How good would pro quartets be?

Thank you for putting the 1990's up. I started to sing shop in 1994. Loved Marquis, Nightlife Acoustix because that is what I was told to listen to by chorus friends in England. I have a barbershop friends who sang with Nightlife. Such a really great couple of barbershop harmony singers.

The trademark of finely done barbershop is the “ring” on the perfectly tuned and vowel-matched chords!!!! Goosebumps!!!😅

I'm a bit ashamed to say I discovered the wonders of oldies only through BHS, which I in turn discovered thanks to KZbin suggesting the Newfangled Four cover of Hello My Baby to me. Still, I'm glad I did. But I just had a sad thought. Pretty soon, most people looking at this video won't understand the inside jokes; not the ones about the old songs, but about how disc players work.

“Hello My Baby” from The Newfangled Four is arguably one of the best barbershop performances ever. Definitely on the top 10. I hope you get to see them in Tennessee on December 15! :]
