I’d tried to play it a few times so was happy to get through it without making to many mistakes 🙂,should’ve possibly become more familiar with it I’ll return with a more chilled version at some point,appreciate the comments and listening 🙂

Dave, that is fantastic! I love Leadbelly's version, but yours is one of the best instrumentals I've heard. Really fantastic. It would be great if you found a good singer to get together with and have a go at it. Cheers!

Hello Dave! You get such good sound out of your guitars! Are you using any amplification at all or just acoustic?

@@gardenianine9627 Hi ,usually just record the guitars with a usb condenser mic and add a little reverb I’ve got a Gretsch with a pick up that I sometimes amplify with effects to get a change of tone 🙂

i love this so much! if i ma ask a technical question... i have a dobro that i picked up several years ago on a trip to nashville, and i have tried your sliding style, but i find i have to press so hard with the slide on the strings, just to get the all to play at the same time. is there anything that can be done to set up the instrument to make is easier to lay the slide flat across the strings?

Hi ,glad you enjoyed,you need a fairly high action on your guitar and the strings should vibrate better the fretboard and slide ,shouldn’t need to hold it down hard at all really,hope this helps 🙂
