I’m here in 2024, gosh I wish I could go back when I was young & take advantage of following the Moody Blues a lot more than I did. I’m doing it now, but it’s not the same. I always loved them in the 60’s, but at sometime our radio didn’t play their songs…I feel cheated! 😪♥️🌹

When i was a child, my mother would play this song to put me to sleep, and now im old and it makes me feel sad, but it comforts me for some reason.

What do you think would happen if someone tried to write this now? Do you think any company would release it? Would it get any air play? Not likely. This all happened in a narrow window of time. Be thankful for the internet.

Mike Pender-the most TALENTED of the entire group left not long after this. He didn't like the "Pop" direction the group was headed he said. Everyone easily forgets Decca formed their Deram division for FOUR CHANNEL (QUAD) groups like The Moody Blues. I have all their QUAD LP's and 15 IPS four-channel tapes. None other than Alan Parsons engineered most of their LP's.

The current VP needs to spend a day listening to the Moody Blues! Maybe she will come to learn compassion! IF all politicians would do that, the world would be a better place !

March 18th 1972 Boston Garden. First big concert ever, The Moody Blues. Astounding! I can still see Ray Thomas with his flute mesmerizing the Boston garden, with their voices sounding like it was straight out of heaven. Seen many concerts since , but none better.

Very hard to make out the musical detail here. Yea it's an interesting historical video, but I'd rather just listen to good recordings.

It always astounds me how clear the audio quality of Ray's vocals on the bridge are. Even on the crappiest speakers, it sounds like he's right there in the room with you.

I was there . My deepest respect for all the artist at the Bilzen festival, who had to work with the extremely poor Davoli sound equipment, with no monitor speakers at all that worked well.

ALL 5 were such a beautiful contribution to this English Psychedelic Rock Band. long live Mike Pender and his Melotron. "Belong to the Same world, Turned On to the Same world" is right up there with Roger Waters, "you wouldn't understand this is not *HOW I am". *notice not the cliche, WHO. (imho, that would make it bad.) Pink Floyd + Moody Blues + Harris + Walz = enjoying current times. Gaza = NOT enjoying current times.
