@@Kjam3257 Hey! Dust and dirt was filled inside. Which is why, as we mentioned - A Dreadlocks DETOX (deep wash) is very important every 3-6 months. Why? Because a usual shampoo wash removes the dirt from outside, but now as he doesn't have straight hair a usual wash isn't enough - that's when a Detox is needed and it helps remove the dirt from within. He did not do the Detox often..which is why the dirt was within. Someone who does a Detox as recommended, won't have dirt inside their Dreads. Also, majority of Dreadheads do not even know what a Detox is, but we try as much as we can to spread knowledge about it. 😊

Chris's locs are very impressive, but in India, they are not the longest. I have seen Hindu holy men who wear their hair at least twice as long as they are tall, meditating at the top of the stairs while their locs fall all the way down to the bottom step.
