Our go too's for Italian are Costa in Murrells Inlet. Gios in Pawleys. Cafe Piccolo in Pawleys ( same owner as Costa ). Capriccios in Myrtle. Used to go to Villa Romano in Myrtle but that area has really gone down and is unsafe at night, sad they were really good. Thanks for sharing

The intention is that you'd like to assist those close to you in a sector that you're a professional in. But such a negative reaction speaks terribly to your ability as a professional. Those that can mix business and personal affairs do so well for completely different reasons than you'd think. The standard advice is don't, and it's some of the best advice out there. (The video is satirical [hopefully] and not representing the professional's demeanor, the main road block to working with personal friends and family is that they see you primarily as a friend/family member. They often do not separate any part of the ensuing process from the personal relationship, which can create tension in situations they are misinformed on. I have a rule against working with family, only making an exception once for my now wife. That's because my family loves taking everything personally.)

My younger brother went and bought a brand new house after using up a significant amount of my time while patiently tried to show him everything on the market that was available that was within what he said he wanted. It would have cost him nothing to sign me in at the new home and I would have kicked back the 3% to him so it cost him 3% extra to buy that house because he knew better.

Both prices and interest rates on houses are ridiculous right now. Then you add inflation to the equation and even someone who makes good money can barely afford a house if not at all. Something’s gotta change.
