@@SKARFishin I made it up here Sunday fished for a little bit Sunday and fished bout all day Monday and for a few hours today . I can’t get a bite punching or on a frog. Not sure if the bites off or I’m not in the right stuff. Caught a few on a buzz toad and a few on a chatter bait but it’s been a lot tougher than I thought it would be for me but I’ve never been here in the fall so I could be making wrong decisions. If you have been out I’d like to know if it’s me or the bite is real tough ?

@ dang. I haven’t in a little bit but the last time I was out was a week or so ago and it was definitely tougher for me too. I did catch quite a few in the mats but seemed like alot of them had left. When I was catching them really good they were pulling current like crazy. It has slowed down since. Where did you end up going ? Browns creek and seibold were the best mats , the ones that are closer to the creeks or ditches were better. I would imagine it’s not just you. I think it’s gotten tougher with the lack of rain. Why you never went pro is beyond me
@SKARFishin9 ай бұрын
Thanks for the comment. It’s a long road to go pro. First, before you ever even hit the water it costs a tremendous amount of money to enter the opens, you need a full size truck and boat (150k at least ), than you gamble on yourself to make it. I enjoy helping people catch fish, seeing kids smile, and being home way too much to ever make that gamble. It would be cool, just not in the cards for me. It’s a tough road for most professionals. But if I were to give you one reason why I never tried is definitely money. Sucks to say but it’s a rich man’s sport . Really sucks for young kids trying to make it .

@@SKARFishin Roger that. I like using them when I'm using light 1/8 oz. swimbaits or jigs (especially for Smallies).
