Unless you have the very most powerful models, all the latest ranges just come with USB cable to charge these days (the whole industry is moving this way so they don't have to keep hundreds of different charging cables in stock).

I just got this torch in the special edition bundle, great price and it feels rather robust and well engineered. I’m glad it also comes with the 7 year warranty as well. Good piece of mind. If it out lasts the warranty I’ll say I got my moneys worth.

You can only use the LedLenser magnetic charging cable to charge this one (you get one in the box).

Although i own 2 of this..i still dont know when the red ligh will turn or come on Or how i gwt it to do that...or whats the purpose of that red light.. Thx for any tip And by the way This is for long or much the best of the best headlamp I've ever owned

The red light helps for map reading at night and also doesn't disturb anyone who is sleeping (unlike white light). Just press the bottom of the middle NOT 3 seconds (as instructions says) press until the red light turns on.

Found out there is a a red tint light that’s virtually covered by the charger socket -difficult to observe.After full charge it changes to green .Hope this helps somebody 🤘🇬🇧

How is the i18R model different from the MT18? 🤔 Except for that black ring? Or is the i18R actually a MT18, but with some extra attachments included? (And if so, what is the purpose of that ring? 🤔)

It's essentially the same torch. The i18R just comes with the rubberised ring (as you point out) which just offers extra protection to the torch if it's dropped
