I feel so badly for the people who sat for hours for a spot only to have the floats stop on either side where they couldn’t see them.

My mom worked the gift shop. I went a lot including closing day. (Which was super depressing.) The gift shop became a Starbucks that was open for about a decade longer and was actually one of the best Starbucks in Orange County. Unfortunately the city of Buena Park fell for a con artist who bought the land for a “Butterfly Pavilion” that was used to launder money.

@@austin_the_brimstone yeah, we were so sad when it closed. What a shame. Was so weird that Starbucks stayed open so long after Movieland.

The folks at Disney are not animators and magicians anymore. They no longer know how to use smoke, mirrors and light and darkness. They think they have to build it (somehow) for what it is. as a business expense. Hence... Fantasmic will be without a dragon for many years, and nobody there cares even a little bit.

It's such a treat to hear a crowd so excited to see this show. I sincerely hope that with the new show coming to Magic Kingdom, Disney will consider bringing this version back seasonally. It's terribly missed!

That was so cool that Tinkerbell was a small lighted figure, I kind of forgot that I saw something like this when I was little. In fact what did they use to make that special affect ?
@ThatThemeParkFreak10 ай бұрын
7:36 not that I love giving away Disney magic, but I’ve always been just as curious about it too! 😂 If you look at the castle (when the flares start going up), you can see Tinker Bell‘s wire going across and then just below it, you can see the “light” wire starting to move.
@DanielGomez-gw4kt Жыл бұрын
I don't know if you remember, but almost a lot of people called it this version as the Sleeping Beauty Castle Barbie doll walkthrough. Some people had dubbed this old-school Sleeping Beauty Castle walkthrough at that time, everybody said that they look like Barbie dolls. So they called it the Barbie doll Sleeping Beauty Castle walkthrough
