I think this is the result of bot drops happening in areas where they can't find Helldivers. Since they don't know where to go, they just cluster around each other. I've seen devastators do the same thing.

Generally, you won’t see them before you step on them. There was light there so it probably just didn’t load in. Pretty damn inconvenient bug tho

Permanent milestones like this in games are always amazing to witness! Reminds me of the infamous Relay destruction in Warframe, where basically there's a routine event in which a giant ship the size of a mini planet is built and players have to take it down within the time limit. Now, it's usually completed far before the time runs out, however, some years ago, the majority of the playerbase decided to "see what would happen" if they intentionally let the ship run it's course to its target Relay(basically a hub for players to buy and sell items, interact with their NPC factions, and trade with each other. They didn't think the devs would do it, but the Relay was decimated by a hugeass laser from the ship, and has been PERMANENTLY destroyed, and is now an official part of the lore of the game. It was a sight to behold, and my only regret was not being there myself for that glorious moment.

I was there! Really glad historical records like this exist for the divers who weren't able to see it! This is the first time I've seen that walking animation on the bridge, it's a shame keyboard users are forced to jog all the time

Man caught an entire company's worth of bots by surprise while they were waiting for dropship pickup. I've seen this happen before, sometimes when a few bots were left in the open, while the rest were 800 feet up atop the canyon walls or mesas. Fighting *those* ambushes was always fun. I wonder how many patrols can be lured into such a "dormant" pocket and left alone while stealthing? If 1-2 helldivers remain prone somewhere nearby, they might be able to keep the entire bot army bottled up and distracted, then light them all up when it's time to make them waste a bot drop (for the epic scenes it would produce).
