Just tried it today.. thought it was awful but that’s just me. It was my first time having lobster… guess I was expecting a different taste and texture.

It’s funny how people complain about the price . I went on a sushi date with my fiancé and I spend around $300 for sushi the best in the city I book the reservation a month ahead because spots are all booked for the month so I had to do a month ahead. The sushi spot was the best great service and the atmosphere the fresh food we spent over 2 hours just talking and enjoying the food .

No doubt. Spent a few days in Chicago in the late 90s. Walked downtown every night completely safe. The homeless people were cordial and entrepreneurial. Nothing like Chicago today. The architecture blew me away. The overall friendliness of Chicago was fantastic. But the food was off the hook! The food was absolutely awesome. Chicago will always be one of my top food towns for sure.

I would find out if they have free healthcare before eating American food products, it looks unhealthy and full of artificial colours and additives.

The first one My old neighborhood Irish channel/Garden District I stay around the corner at 719 Philip Street for 26 years until my grandmother passed and all my aunts and mother was fighting over home And sold it in 2009 for pennies on the dollar they sold the house for 75k now the house is worth over 600k it’s a double shotgun. and had 4 Bed room, one bath on each side when we stay there with a nice big backyard.. I look at Google maps to go back and look at the old years of when we were staying there. Man man man I spent my childhood and early adult life in that house. a lot of memories that I truly miss. And this restaurant been there since I was a kid. that’s on magazine street and first Street. But that is not the same owners, but this spot has always been a café like restaurant.

ah there used to be a place called Nino's Italian Beef and it was just a hole in the wall tiny "restaurant". No place to sit. Two tall standing tables and the beef was spinning on a rotisserie that caught the beef juices which they would soak the bread and meat with....so good....and yes you could get grilled peppers and onions for extra. I used to live right down the street from the original one. I heard they opened a second Nino's after i left Chicago for good years ago.
