I’m convinced this guy is just an absolute genius. All of his music is so layered and intricate that there’s so many things to revel in and think about, and it all comes together so perfectly. It combines good vibes and incredible groove with a fantastic variety of tones and feelings, and has a texture to it that I rarely find in music, if ever. It feels less like I’m listening to a series of sounds or instruments and more like I’m being directly plugged into an experience with incredible atmosphere. It’s crazy.

C418 has created so many masterpieces, shame a lot of people only listen to his Minecraft music. By the way, I can't agree more with Work Life Imbalance being in it, it's one of my favourite tracks he's made.

I 100% agree. It's his most professionally and expertly produced album and it feels so self-contained whilst still having a lot of variety. Plus, it just really goes off. Even the four bonus tracks that were only added after the tracklist was leaked sound absolutely awesome.

man c4418 is epic also I love the ablbum art! And, that spinning disc icon is really neat. I like to imagine it being some sorta guy sleeping with the "zzz" replaced with the music note

yeah Friend is by far my second favorite song from 148. Spectic Shock is first, then Droopy Remembers and Habitual Crush. Jimtention is fantastic too. in terms of albums im not sure which i like more- One or 148. Both are works of art.

02:00:10 - Tsuki No Koibumi (One) .... This song is mindblowing. Absolutely brilliant

Personally what I think is most remarkable about Tsuki No Koibumi is how different it is to any other song by C418. It's one of his few songs that feature any lyrics at all, and a complex one at that - most of the others have just a few words or very few verses. It's also his only song sang in Japanese, which is interesting considering he is German and all of his songs with lyrics are in English. Really interesting!

@@henrycgs I think the purpose of One (the album) was to build up to its 'final form', or Tsuki No Koibumi. I think it represents Daniel taking a bit of a leap and experimenting with more lyrical based songs. and that's why 148 (the album after One) has a lot more lyrical based songs, let alone Tsuki No Koibumi 2.

@@Kueso72 Ive been listening to his works recently and I think youre right. I came to a similar conclusion with his songs. He also seems to sneak in some commentary of the outside world, prevalent in songs like Alive and Friend. But what I think comes from his albums is his desire to improve, thats what makes his songs unique and so obviously amazing! This man has provided some of the most powerful and enjoyable music for the last DECADE and he does it to be better and have fun!

To me it feels like a sort of ending credits song for One. Like, the tale he's weaving is over and he finishes it off with an epic recap with a very wistful vibe
