Thank you for this video. I remember visiting here with our school back in the mid '80s . It's brought back happy memories x

Even the largest pipe organ in Europe needs the right acoustical environment to shine--sound wise. The St. Ouen pipe organ sounds better.

I had the priveledge of hearing this mighty work while stioned in Bavaria. When the organist started his playing the tears rolled down my face. Never have I heard a sound such a this.

Interesting way how the banjo left hand is simulated. Buttons from below instead mechanical fingers from above.

My mom was in charge of all the serving and cleaning staff in this Palace. When the war was over a man came knocking on the door looking for a job. The man in charge told him to go away but my mom asked him what he wanted and he told her. She must have seen something in him because she told the man in charge why not give him a job. He called him back and put him in the boiler room to keep the place warm. They both fell in love and here I am because of it. They had four kids and I am the youngest ( now 61 ). My dad past away 15 years ago and mom 3 years ago. It all started in this palace.

I really would love to visit this museum one day, thank you so much for sharing your wonderful experience. For now, since we still have a strict mask mandate here in Germany, I'll have to wait at least another year to drive to Rüdesheim. I can't wear masks for long periods of time because of breathing issues and don't want my doctor to get in trouble with police, so I won't ask him for a medical attest. Sadly I wouldn't be able to wear one for a whole 45 minute tour. Nonetheless, I'm really grateful for your videos! :)

Absolutely stunning. Just as a matter of interest the church organ of the Groote Kerk in Cape Town is with its 6000 pipes the biggest in the Southern Hemisphere
@peteacher52 Жыл бұрын
Sorry, that is incorrect. The largest organ in the southern hemisphere is that of Sydney Town Hall, with its operational 64' stop.

First you must hear the bells outside the church. Then, the organ music inside the church. This should be a great musical moment for everyone.

Badass you bet!. Great horseman, great swordsman (indoors also, I'm sure...) great whip handlers. Great looking too - makes me proud to be Ukrainian. Talk about manly men! Except one thing: Why are they shaving their chests? Hey guys, chest hair is from testosterone - it's manly as hell. No reason to shave if off and look smooth as a lady.
