how did you flush mount the kings box?

Fantastic question!! I noticed my roof rack bolts were long so I undone the nuts and drilled 2 holes in the top of the box. Pushed the box up, the bolts went into the box and then fastened the nuts back up. Happens to sit flush on the head board

Awesome set up did have similar Try flipping the last slide then notch the bit it slides into and cooker fit's in nicely and never need to take it out 👌👌
