@@owenmcneill7746 judges look for good form. Rider sitting square, setting and dragging his feet on the spur stroke. Lifting on the rein and having the feet set over the brakes of the shoulder before the horses front feet can touch the ground.

Yes! The rider can be awarded up to 50 points and the horse can earn up to 50 points per run. Two judges watch the horse and two more watch the rider so no single judge can award more than 25 points per run. And just like the cowboys, the horses can work their way into the finals based on the points accrued during the season.

Uneven steers, l should say, but that’s what you get sometimes. With a pair good draws in there.
