Great video. I can confirm that Ridge now provides 2 seperate pieces; the elastic that holds the wallet together and the cash strap. Your instructions are still valid. They call it "Replacement Elastic -Cash Strap" on their website and that sounds like it's just one thing, but it's both.

Well done. My inner plates wore out and started damaging the cards. Ridge sent me a new set plus the cash strap. The original strap was stitched together just like yours. The replacement cash strap was 2 separate pieces, but I was able to assemble it back using the separate straps. Thanks!

Does it come with a solid clip as well?

It may say coins & keys, but i use it for rfid tags as long as its slim but my building one is perfect for this.

The design of the otf (the super common design used in nearly all models from cobratec to microtech) is so simple, the materials are far from expensive (Ti screws are Pennies each when bought in bulk, same for the fancy clips and the ultra common 6061 Al ) they require Minimal machine work. There’s a reason you can buy one for $25 at the gas station. The only real cost is sometimes the fancy blade steel. Otherwise, for these “upgraded” versions especially, man do we pay a premium. Why do we keep doing this to ourselves. And yeah, I just bought one…tanto blade. Have the cerakote waiting when it gets here 😊

Awesome review. Is this a pack that you still grab to this day? I’m looking at this for full size CCW (FNX45 tactical) but I’m worried the gun is too big. I picked one of these up from REC just weeks ago.

They should’ve padded the inside with thin rubber. But it’s really only meant for temporary use so when you’re out you don’t have loose change in your pockets. Not meant to always have change in it.

Hey dude. Open up the front molle and Velcro section all the way to the bottom. At the very bottom of the pocket, there’s Velcro that opens up to BEHIND the molle all the way to the top of the bag. I can’t figure out what it’s for
