There are no air vents for all of economy in lufthansa's a350 fleet unfortunatley. As far as the space is, as long as your family has the row, it should be easy to get up and stand a little bit in the bulk head area to get some fresh air but bulk head seats in general sound best of what you are looking for if they are still availible, or perhaps premium economy upgrade since there is more room there.

Thank you! They not only charter routes like this, but also have 747-8 passenger planes for NFL sports teams. Maybe one day I will be able to go on that. I am scheduled on another one of these flights in the summer, if it looks different I'll make another trip report.

I used to only get gemini jets but they were just too small for me especially for the price despite their quality. Skymarks seems to be the best comprimise between quality and size/getting the bang for your buck since it is easier to admire.

Armed forces, pro sports team, or if your company charted a flight and you were one of its employees. In general, you can not buy a ticket for one of these flights, you must be invited. I was super lucky to be invited on these two flights so I consider myswlf very privileged. I hope these tripreports can show was few may experience what chartwr flights are all about! I hope that you'll perhaps will be able to get on one one day. Maybe if you are lucky, you can call Atlas up and ask them if there are any space availible flights they can put you on. Probably won't happen but i'd give it a try.

Thanks! A charter flight is a flight that is not part of an airline's published schedule and is not availible for the general public. In this case, Atlas air only does charter flighta on its passenger side of operations so there is no way to get on one of these unless you are part of a pro sports team going on the road, your company uses these flights for buisness travel, or you are from the millitary or part of a millitary family in which case you can get on these to go from one base to another (which is the case for this video).

As far as the price, since the whole flight is bought/chartered by another entity, one would be invited on these dlights so it would actually be free for the flyer.

Haha my footrest was my back pack lol. It turned out be be perfect and almost felt like a business class seat but with only ~$60 or so extra. Also, yes you are able to exit just by walking forward so no need to climb over anyone. Direct isle access + window seat, who could ask for more

The floating thing I had on top of the backpack so that I got some cushioning but it was a present from a friend. Very useful for trips and you can just blow it up and disinflation it like a balloon or any inflatable. Some airlines actually have foot rests in economy like turkish airlines but lufthansa doesn't.

For sure! So the problem might be from the side stick as most side sticks have a yaw axis if you twist it. Having this and the pedals might have displayed this message. What I would reccomend would to be specifically selecting the rudder pedals in the control settings as the primary axis for yaw so that that message does not show up.

I agree for short flights, on long flights I only recline when lights are out and it’s sleeping time. If it is meal time or departure and approach I have my seat up, so I try to be courteous as to not have it reclined the full flight. I do respectfully disagree on negotiating with the person behind you though because often times on international flights there are language barriers, etc. When I try reclining a little bit when lights are out on an 11 hour flight, and then the guy behind me starts to swear and hit seat, I personally do not find it reasonable, though I still understand where people come from on the recline debate. As mentioned by other commenters, at the end of the day it is neither our fault but the airlines fault of cramming so many seats in the economy class cabin.

@@themcairplane It's not negotiating but managing expectancies. And sometimes can lead to interesting conversations and then time flies. Language barriers can exist, but never had real issues with that. To my experience it makes the flight a lot better to have a temporary relationship with the people around you.
