Lucky enough to be in the Omaha area in when this came out. My college roommate was dialed in to the great music of the day. This was when and where Saddle Creek Records, Sokol Hall, and the Ranch Bowl all coexised. Commander Venus, 311, Blue Moon Ghetto, Nine Days Wonder were local. You could hear this song on the radio in the summer of 95.

90s were the best. Mid teens to young adult during those years. Lived alot, learned alot, experienced alot. People who didn't experience those yrs will never know how awesome the 90s were. It didn't matter what type of music was being played back then because every genre of music was so good. Probably the last decade of greatness.

My all-time favorite song regardless of the band. I still remember being blown away hearing Stars for the first time in the mid 90's when it came out. I was floored and have been a fan ever since.

I Love this album and THIS song love this song. However in this video? Why is your drummer wearing what appears to be EARMUFFS yes. They do not appear to Headphones and even if they were WHY the hell would he be wearing headphones he should be CARRYING the band which he seems to do fine right

Maybe at first listen but Electra2000 + downward is heavenward put HUM in their own lane, even most of this album as well. Corgan wouldn’t write something like “Afternoon with the axolotls” or even double dip.
