Pete, you mention using an XLR to 1/4 as a better option than XLR to XLR. Would that the be the same recommendation for coming out of the back of my Quad Cortex into my interface? Right now, I'm using XLR to XLR. Same w/ my mic pre for vocals into my interface. Any help from any knowledgeable folks in the comments would be appreciated.

The dude plays well. But where's the fire, the free abandoned expression? Few minutes of it and I've got to spare myself further boredom. For example Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg. She a master fine artist focused on pure emotion. Watch her performance after she attempted suicide. Lot of guitarists are in this sort of camp of perfectionists devoid of emotional expression. No interest in beauty. It's all a sport to them. (At least cut back on the ego, have a little class). I'd rather hear someone like Vicente Amigo or Paco Peña or Carlos Santana. They bring forth, their very Soul - as if their life depends on it.

I had any kind of Gibson, fenders, but my suhr SH signature still my favorite and more versatile guitar since the nineties. Not only for blues or fusion but also if you play covers in a top 40 situation you can emulate any styles with it, and play till the end of the night without being hurt in your hand or your back, ( îm getting old).
