I love Varekai. I remember seeing it live in Columbus with my dad in November 2005. It was my first exposure to Cirque du Soleil. I miss Dad so much, and Varekai always makes me think of him.

When I was 4 when I saw this in 2001 I thought they were Tarzan 😂 Because before I saw the show I just finished Tarzan and Jane and I was excited 🤩

This was one of my favorite parts of the show. I first saw this on dvd many years ago and this was the song that got me loving this show. However, as far as my favorite characters within the show, one of them was the ballet dancer in the black outfit featured in this segment. I don't know what his character was supposed to be, but for some reason his dancing with the music was perfect to me. The high wire act was also amazing, but I don't remember if that was apart of the show that I went to back in 2012 as there were a few performances that got switched out, I think.

Just an incredible soundscape. Timelessly touching.
