Cynda (like cinders of a fire). Quil (like the quills of a hedgehog or echidna; likely inspired by this type of animal considering Cyndaquill keeps its eyes closed and hedgehogs are virtually blind - Pokemon names are often portmanteaus). Granted it’s also a video game so fire rat isn’t too big of a leap when the anime protagonist can pick up Pokémon that are canonically 200+ pounds like they’re a loaf of bread.

This is untrue. Legendaries from the second DLC in gen 9 have no guaranteed IVs, also making them the weakest legendaries of any generation.

I heard this story when he bought the card. The seller bought the card as a psa 9 and had it sent in multiple times to be regraded. This means he paid 4x the price for this card for what it is actually worth. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is the only illustrator Pikachu graded at a "10".
