I highly recommend it chap, he is very good and has the mannerisms of a Dr at your bedside, he will tell you what youre doing wrong, unlike with LV's own staffed courses, I had to ask "what am I doing wrong?" when i kept on messing up, that just aint right. I would still recommend LV's in-house courses though as once I'd done the Intro and Devloping, I felt confident enough to do the assessment and I passed it! I went with Sam for a little extra after I'd passed as my WW paddling was/is a little/a lot chaotic lol. Which ever route you choose, good luck, oh and you can name drop me if you like :)

Great video. I have just got myself a burn 2. So might see you around as I’m in the reading area not to far to Lee valley.

Thank you and cool, it's a nice boat considering the age, is yours the B.2 or Burn 2 (there is a slight difference by all accounts, I prefer my Burn 2 to the Burn 3, as I kept on getting my foot stuck behind the pillar during some wet exits, also the cockpit is narrower at the front on the Burn 3 which makes it a little more awkward to exit, but then it does have a flatter cockpit which make sit easier to fit the spray deck so swings and roundabouts lol. Have you done the Legacy assessment at LV? If so, I am down there for 2 hours starting at 9:30 this Saturday (29th June) :)

Hey dude ! Greetings from Russia ! Also started to practice white water last winter, learned how to do back deck and sweep roll. So this is the summer of practicing on the water. Good luck in enhancing your ww skills 😊keep posting the videos )

HI, thanks for the reply and congrats on the roll, wow, just wow! I can sweep roll on flatwater as my lastest short shows (i had a go last saturday), not tried any other version, i can see me falling out of the kayak lol Have you managed a combat roll yet (moving water)? Thats where it gets me, being upside down, underwater, moving, bubbles all around, wondering if im going to clout my head on a block, so I end up rushing it and ultimately failing every single time, has to be at least 20 times too. Good luck to you too and make sure you record everything on the water, it really helps to watch it back, mine have shown me where i go wrong and how to fix it :)

Really nice training day Bashy. 👍 Coach Wilson really gave you some great tips. Keep up the great work and building that muscle memory and that will undoubtedly minimize your swims. Good to see you keeping at honing your skills.

Glad you like them! Thanks for visiting and good luck with your paddling, you're quite a ways from any man made courses, such as Lee Valley, Tees Barage and Northampton Active, unless there's another near you I don't know about?

You did well. No time to relax much on the course. The eddies are always on the move apart from the larger ones. Legacy assessment next. 👍
