Is there co-op for Applied Statistics or for any of the math programs

What happens if you don’t get into CS post? Can you retry?
@UTMFuture3 ай бұрын
It is possible to reapply to a Computer Science program by retaking CSC148H5 and/or MAT102H5 or improving your CGPA. However, this can delay your graduation, so we recommend exploring all your options before you decide to reapply. If you do not meet the requirements for entry to a CS program in your first year, the department strongly recommends that you plan as if you will graduate with a CS minor. The alternative programs options would pair well with CS, meaning you will stay on schedule to graduate. @@UTMFuture Thanks so much! So if I’m unable to meet the requirements for CS major/specialist I can do CS minor for sure? And also, am I able to do a computer science major + a finance major or is that not possible? Thanks again.
@UTMFuture3 ай бұрын
@@foshoo370 Correct, the CS Minor is open to all students, provided they meet a minimum requirement of completing 4.0 credits (basically, after first year). You will be restricted on what CS courses you can take while in the Minor though. Our Commerce (Finance) program is a Specialist program, not a Major; it isn't recommended to complete a Specialist and a Major since it will add more time to your degree. I want to ask question regarding post I got accepted to cs , stats and maths. I will not have to choose CS major in first year??

Congratulations on your offer! You're right; you don't select your Subject POSt (program) until near the end of your first year.

An institution that promotes diversity and status of women but only for students, yet behind the scenes treats ethnic minority employees as second class citizens and has stereotyped expectations as to how genders should behave. Expecting women to behave 'prim and proper' is an outdated chauvinistic bias.

Hello! I think you mentioned that if your degree when you graduate from the BCom program will not identify which campus you graduated from, could you please confirm that this is true. Would someone who completes their BCom degree at St George Campus where the program is names Rotman Commerce have any advantage over someone who graduated from the Mississauga Campus? Thank you.
@UTMFuture2 жыл бұрын
Hi Tamara! This is correct. All U of T Bachelor of Commerce degrees have the same information; your campus/division/faculty is not listed on the actual diploma you receive.

You should aim to be in the country before classes start, or if you're staying in residence, before move-in day. Please ensure that you follw the guidelines listed on this page: www.viceprovoststudents.utoronto.ca/covid-19/quarantineguide/ You can find important guidance on the international student pre-arrival website: www.utm.utoronto.ca/international/international-life/pre-arrival-information For further guidance on the timing of your arrival, or if you have any other questions or concerns, please get in touch with the International Education Centre: www.utm.utoronto.ca/international/about-us/contact-us

Are we going to be able to come in person for the orientation events?
@UTMFuture3 жыл бұрын
In terms of O-Week/EagleOrientation, we expect the majority of our programming will take place online. However, we are hoping to offer some in-person campus tours, but this will be entirely based on what University and government guidelines / restrictions will allow.
