I didn’t expect the clip with pj Phil on YTV interviewing sailor Venus and sailor Jupiter voice actresses to come on after and when I saw that it made me cry Becuase I remember watching that clip as a little girl and then talking about going to anime club at university of Toronto and thinking how amazing that sounded. I was lucky my mom later found an anime club for me and my friends and we went to it and I remember feeling so happy ♥️

I work in animation and media as an adult. Seeing old news videos where people contextualize the fandoms they don't understand as "weird and strange" gives me a special kind of ptsd.
