Quick question, I was just wondering, is Tracey Moore still the original voice actress for Sailor Moon?

0:58 Despite the fact Sailor Moon have beaten down the sales of Power Rangers deep to the ground in the decade, Sailor Moon was inspired by Super Sentai series, SM Mangaka Naoko Takeuchi's key inspirational childhood tokusatsu which serves basis to Saban's adaption Power Rangers.

wtf got this in my feed, whelp, all I would say is, if you bought all that stuff back then at a cheap price, you did a good investment, and you could sell it today for hundreds of dollars, investmenting in nostalgia is what I've seen more common today, perhaps all those kinds since they are adults they missed their childhood memories

This is sad...there are like a bazillion more people now whose lives are devoted to liking cartoons. Living in the real world is intolerable. People will retreat to what feels safe. God have mercy on the world...f

People calling the anime fan creepy, while they do shadier shit on their phone...in the dark. Hypocrites. That guy is fucking tame compared to modern day degenerates.

The whole anime was taboo back in the 90s to 2000s seems so loose lol. I guess back in the 90s it was something people were into, as a hobby and was fans also. You had conventions and you also people getting their anime from VHS stores. Seems like the 2000s was only when it was ridicule to like anime, due to the mainstream it was getting. Pretty cool

I didn’t expect the clip with pj Phil on YTV interviewing sailor Venus and sailor Jupiter voice actresses to come on after and when I saw that it made me cry Becuase I remember watching that clip as a little girl and then talking about going to anime club at university of Toronto and thinking how amazing that sounded. I was lucky my mom later found an anime club for me and my friends and we went to it and I remember feeling so happy ♥️

I work in animation and media as an adult. Seeing old news videos where people contextualize the fandoms they don't understand as "weird and strange" gives me a special kind of ptsd. The college-age people getting taken advantage of in the third interview didn't realize just how ahead of the times they were.

The interview played moonlight densetsu. Anyone in the US watching this would in the 90s would not have known that since 90s kids were used to the English theme, different from the the original Japanese. Also, 90s kids didn't know Umino was Melvin.
