Stuart I'm so glad you've recovered well matey!!!!! My dad wasn't so lucky he's had four strokes on medication but didn't have the stent tube procedure done the hospital was too far ashame.

Man, these advancements in surgery are amazing. You can put a stent in the brain by starting in the groin area? I don't even know how that could be navigated.

Unless home care is given a a paid sector and employees is given a proper recognition as carers work very hard and its not always an easy job, but rewarding. We will always be short of care staff. It's time to pay these guys.
@janebufton196011 ай бұрын
What this industry needs is given a proper recognition as to what carers do in terms to do within their role. (OH I FORGOT TO MENTION) conveyer belt care Rushing to one to another and is expected to be in two calla 4 miles away at the same time.

I have a hemorrhage and Schemic strike at same time. Im home now but my BP a bit stil high. And i feel so sensitive and heavy at the affected left side. Sometimes it so tense that I feel helpless and im not exercising due to this Any advice please?
@King_of_the_slums11 ай бұрын
The side effects of medication and the after effects of the strokes can be extremely uncomfortable and even painful, but don't give up. It's important to do everything you can to help yourself. Do what you can to keep stress to a minimum, even if it means stop watching the news, arguing with a friend or loved one, just let it all go, get rid of everything that makes you feel negative. Dialy breathing exercises to help with self-control, self-awareness, and reducing anxiety, do some basic meditation as you're doing the breathing, it only takes a few minutes but can have a huge impact on your mental and physical health. KZbin has plenty to offer, but keep it simple. Consider changing your diet. If you're hard-core enough, just go all out Mediterranean diet for several weeks, no alcohol, no junk food, no sugar. It sounds like hard work and it is but if your determined to recover and reduce the chances of it happening again then you'll do whatever it takes. The diet will help heal your mind and body, greatly reduce the chances of depression setting in, and help you focus on today and tomorrow instead of yesterday . However you approach this don't let it defeat you. Life if different now, it's down to you how you want it to be.

My father went to a bypass surgery last month and that also caused a wide brain infarct in his cerebellum and brain stem. He has now been struggling for his life last 3 weeks. He also got some sort of infection which meant that he had to stay at intensive care. Now 3,5 weeks later he is finally getting to his rehabilitation. His right hand and leg are very weak and he lost ability to speak. Also one of the eyes are much weaker now. I really hope that he can recover at least partially from this so he can still enjoy life and be with his family. Life isn't fair...

To avoid future strokes, please do as i tell you: Drink only destilled water... do not- i repeat not!- take any statins.... learn about it!!!!!!!!!! eat no sugar and avoid carbohydrates as much as possible. eat no "healthy" oils high in omega 6 !!!!!!! youtube: "omega 6 apcalyse Dr Knobbe" learn about keto diet!!!!!!!!! bring your blood pressure down!!!!! slowly but steadily you can recover ... but only 2 to 3 months after stopping the statins!!!!! huge damage!!!!!!! all the best and good luck, buddy!😎😎🍀🍀🌹🌹🙏🙏 check your blood sugar!!!! many stroke victims get cataracts and diabetis 2 from statins.... My dad underwent triple bypass about 2 weeks ago the surgery went great. Unfortunately 2 days later he had a major stroke.. unfortunately he is still in the icu, he can’t move his left side and can only mumble with a few clear words here & there. I just hope he will be okay.. May god be with us all and all of your families.

Dad had a massive ischemic stroke. about 3 days in ICU, had no opportunity for trombolisis due to high blood pressure(was about 240/150 in first hours). After 5 days CT showed 2/3 right hemisphere damaged. Left side was paralized(arm, leg), speach was affected significantly. 2 weeks in a hospital, then 2 weeks in covid center(bad luck) and after a bit more then 1 month he finally started his recovery in reabilitation center. Left side still paralized but he can feel it fully, speach almost restored. Looking forward to seeing him standing and using his left arm

can you give me more details about status of your father like pulmonary function, muscles test, pain examination? I am physiotherapy
@Jinjr3222 жыл бұрын
@@nadasaid7841 i don't know much and unfortunately personel don't provide us such information in details. All i know is: pulmonary function - he coughs from time to time and he had been in the laid position for ~1 month. muscles test - only thing i know that after 2 weeks in rehabilitation center his left arm/leg is still paralyzed(but not senseless). mom is going to visit him tomorrow, ill ask her to ask about that. pain examination - he feels pain all over paralyzed arm and leg(not constantly, only if I squeze his arm strongly), he feels 'sudden' pain somewhere around pelvis while bending his paralyzed leg. Our phisiotherapist once said, that is good that he fully regained sensation in his arm/leg. that means he can restor motoric functionality as well.. hope its true.
