Amazing video! Thank you for sharing! If you had to pick, between Valldemossa and Fornalutx, which one do you recommend? We will already spend half day in Palma and a night in Soller.
@akfasso7 күн бұрын
If you want shopping and food, I’d say Valldemossa. Try to get there early or stay late. Fornalutx is much quieter with a lot less to do.

There are no more vignette stickers on windshileds since 2021, but e-vignettes, bought online or gas stations. Secondly, sorry for you having such bad weather at bohinj lake. This & sourrounding areas tops all other places in Slovenia.

Addendum comment. The HAL app should you add a ‘review’ or ‘comment’ please understand these are distributed to the crew HGM etc immediately. So giving a shout out for great service from a particular crew team member… they see these and management recognition is given!! Please to homework well in advance of booking and use your TA to get THE best add-ons to create a memory making adventures cruise. JMTC
@terenceyacovitch675715 күн бұрын
Very good review but we wish you had done some research with your TA for this , your first time on the HAL Rotterdam. Club Orange IS a highly recommended add on in our opinion. Automatic upgrade to best suite in your booked class suite is a great perk. Check In priority at the cruise start and priority at each port . The CO dining venue is SO special too … one has to experience their service to understand how guests are treated with personalized care. CO is more than worth the dollar investment to enhance any cruise vacation. In our opinion any reviewer should experience EVERY specialty dining venue to give a true insight to the possibilities available. For example Rudi’s IS outstanding as is the Morimoto Pop-up evening in the Tamarind… an adventure worth every cent! Good review but we wish that all areas had been thoroughly explored. The Retreat Cabanos ( a must for us) are a slice of private heaven.. 2 attendants present from 8AM to 5 PM to cater to any needs. Again an investment BUT as a vacation choice = YOU are worth it ! Cheers !

"How can I thank you for this delicious recipe! I made it yesterday, halving the quantities, and ended up with 13 pieces. very nice video and I'm glad you liked it here!... but I watched a lot of videos from people who chose to visit slovenia and you all make the same mistake never come to slovenia in september or even oktober it is the worst time and worst weather... so if you come back please come in may or summer or in winter if you like the winter atmosfire 😉 also you should see since you like to hike sedmera jezera(seven rivers in triglav national park) go to planica and from there to Tamar or mojstrana and go to see waterfall peričnik (slap Peričnik) and from there to vintgar gorge
@akfasso19 күн бұрын
Really appreciate the suggestions! I absolutely hope to return there and see even more of this country! Honestly, it's now one of my favorite places. I read about Seven Rivers, but didn't feel I had enough time to pursue it on the day I was in the area. I will have to come back! Also, aside from the few days of rain I shared with you all, the weather was very pleasant! Slightly cool and sunny. No complaints here. :)
@blažjaklič-t2z19 күн бұрын
@akfasso yes if you want to see the beautiful lakes and Mountains (seven lakes in triglav national park) you should make this a one day trip from lake bohinj then go to Stare Fužine and just follow the red sings all the way up by the first lake is a cotage so you can eat and drink something and then go in a different direction and you can see waterfall Slavica and come back to bohinj lake and you make a nice circle around the whole lake in one day😊

0:55 I wouldn't call the single tram line "intuitive" but rather the result of decades of botched plans, politics, overspending, etc ...

At 12:03 you have actually captured 3 common themes at once: beside the power station you have a volunteer fire station and a storks nest on the electric pole. The only thing missing is a hayrack :)

Probably the first anglo-american video about slovenija that is not just quickly jumping from seaside ..Ljubljana..and Bled.. but actually represented other cities and villages with culinary stops, a bit of hiking and amazing cinematic portraits of nature. For the two seaters, is there room for backpacks or small bags like a camera bag for example?
@akfasso23 күн бұрын
We had a 4-seater, so I can’t speak for the 2-seater setup, but we had two cameras and a drone with us that we kept in a backpack strapped down in the trunk. Plenty of room!

I saw a ton of these off road vehicles when I went to Sedona last year and I said when I come back I’m gonna rent one. Will be heading back in April of 2025 and it’s already on my list. Did they give you some suggested trails to check out? How many trails were you able to do in that 4 hour time frame?
@akfasso23 күн бұрын
Hi there! They gave us a map of all the trails in the area we could pursue. I, unfortunately, don’t recall exactly how many we did, but there were certainly plenty to choose from!

It is not surprising that you've stumbled upon rain in Lake Bohinj, since traditionally Rain has it's babies there, as we say in Slovenia. But I really appreciate your video and hope you'll visit again soon.

Love that! As much as rain might obscure a view, I find beauty in how vibrantly green it can make the landscape. I enjoyed it all the same. :) Thank you for watching and leaving this comment!
