When will this border crossing finally have a non-stop schedule, while also raising the maximum weight limit from 3,5 tonnes to 7,5 tonnes? I know that the people in the region want this, and I find it fair that, if Jimbolia has a border crossing which works 24h, then, Kikinda should also have the same opportunity!Especially since many people from Kikinda go to Zoppas in Sannicolau Mare, and, Lunga is also a good border crossing for travels to Northern Serbia, and even shortening the way to Croatia. Thanks!

This is a very useful border crossing! It is very sad that it is not open 24h/24!

Unfortunately, the Romanian Government is not interested in the border crossing working non-stop. Serbian Government send to Buchurest proposal for non-stop work in 2017, but Romanian Government rejected it several times. Also, although the Government of Serbia opened the border crossing on June 1, 2020, after the lifting of the state of emergency due to the pandemic, the Romanian side did not do it so even after a year after Serbian side.

@@SasaTanackov I am from Timișoara(Temišvar), and I find it sad that we can't control things on a regional level, as you do in Vojvodina. For example, if someone wants to reopen a border crossing, Bucharest has to say OK, and only then can you do something😠.
