So that was only my second time on the trail and I looked at the hard line on winch hill 3 and thought no way unless I have to. Is there a secret to it? I do want to try it this year

I think the Forest Service has says they want it to be passable by a stock Jeep on 35” tires. I’m sure that is possible but not easy.

Yes and sometimes a winch for winch hill 4. First time I made it fine without a winch. This time I got off line and had to winch about 3 feet.

I think, I can ride most of this trail going up on my E--Bike. Parts of it are way steeper than it looks in a video. I wear knee protection in the park, at least on trails.

Base model expert build, cheapest parts, all SRAM GX I think. After riding it I built my own up with high end stuff and saved 6 pounds.

Great quick video! A lighter weight wheelset on that Sniper T will really make it come alive on the climbs.

I have GP5 Black and do moto vlogs with it. I was considering an upgrade but after seeing this dont think the money spent will be worth it. Nice comparison, you cant even tell which clip is from which camera if you dont look at the bottom. Thank you so much.

It kind of shows it in the first five seconds of the video but that won’t give you a true idea of it since I clamped the hero 9 onto the gimbal handle. The GoPro gimbal is powerful but like twice the size of other good ones like the EVO gimbals. I would say if you already have a gimbal or an older GoPro, you won’t get a lot of improvement in the video since they are already very clear and smooth. But if you’re starting from zero, just buy a new Hero 9 because overall it’s lighter and simpler than a Hero 5-8 + gimbal

You can do the whole thing from your phone or computer and it’s not that hard but it is more involved than a regular GoPro
