You caught a number of the easier pin placements on some of the tougher greens which I assume Ray mentioned... LOL. You made it look far easier than it really is, especially given your "bomber" drives.

Thank you for the beautiful video. I’m going to bring my parents the the Desert Springs course during Christmas break. Would you suggest which course (between palm course & valley course) to play more comfortably and chill with my parents? Basically the easier and flexible course! My dad is a solid player, but my mom is just a beginner!

You gotta play shadow hills north course in indio. It's an unbelievably nice par 3 course with plenty of holes over 200 yards

I sure Hope to Hell you waited for the 10th Green to Clear before you tried to "Drive the Green" there. About every third time I play Skylinks, some Yahoo comes close to Hitting me or one of the Group when we are near the 10th Green! And play from Where the Tee Markers are Set, rather than wherever the Hell you feel like.

When do you fly the drone? Do you ask for permission? Does managent usually care? Did you play the course? We need to see you play, bro!

hate to point this out, but at the 11:42 mark the logo says BIRDIE, but it was a par on 18. heh heh.

As much as I love a drivable par 4, I don't like it for the 18th hole. In my book #18 should be a test. The back 9 just felt like it was "Fit in" in spots. The par 3 being played backwards being part of it. It's a great place, but I think it could have been even better.

When I was an assistant pro in 1999 in Palm Springs I went to play the Mountain course on the day after Thanksgiving. I was supposed to play at noon but my friend who was an assistant there says "Do you want to play with Adam Sandler" he's got a group of 3 at 230. So I say hell yeah. I now had to kill 2.5 hours. So I'm calling all my friends saying "I'm golfing with Happy Gilmore". So around 2 I'm on the range and met his good friend and a business associate of Adam. So we're hitting putts and his phone rings. "Hey Adam we're here where are you? Oh really that sucks. Another time then. See ya". So as it turns out played (12 holes as it got dark because I waited) with Happy Gilmores friend and business partner. I was bummed but still got to play the Mountain or part of it anyway. 🤣

Nice to see you back! I've watched a couple of course vlogs from this course and now your drone footage and I'm very curious to see how the PGA is going to handle spectators here. There doesn't appear to be a lot of room for spectators among the lava, especially around a lot of the greens. Will be interesting.

I’d have to agree with you here. It seems like a tight squeeze to walk most holes….id presume corporate hospitality would make the experience as good as it can be!

What time of year was this? I'm headed to Wilson and Harding for an LPGA Am Tourney in November, and a little worried about the course condition after seeing this video. It's in horrible shape!!!
@BakoSooner2 ай бұрын
Normally a 5+ hrs of golf. Even getting a tee time there is stressful and somewhat mysterious even after the online tee times. And the condition is mostly ugly. But the scenery and the cost makes up for the pain. Driving the #11 is a great risk / reward opportunity. Holes 13,14 and 15 sets up very challenging par 4s. A great track to play once in a while.
