Wait…. You were in NC? Me too! I’m in Greensboro. Even if you’re moving and I’ve missed my chance to meet a ”local celebrity” (🤩), I have to say thank you for such inspiring and helpful content! You have totally helped me to gain the confidence to leave my corporate desk job and go pursue joy in cleaning for work!

I just found your channel. THANK YOU for ALL your info related to house cleaning and MORE...such INSIGHT!! Not all of us had a parent who TAUGHT us how to clean. It may seem logical, but to do it efficiently and properly, it is not always "obvious" to some of us. So THANK YOU! I do have a question about mildew/mold. What do you use and how do you use it when trying to remive the mildew spots insude the door frame, on the rubber strips separating inside from outside? Thanks again!!

I am fighting back tears. I am coming out of 4 years of dépression. Did not want to admit it, felt too ashamed to reach out to anyone. Come to find out, people knew. I dropped 30 lbs in those 4 years. Eating, hygiene, cleaning, opening the front door, the basics, just are not a priority for me when things get dark. Pretending all is okay is absolutely exhausting. I got the opportunity to move out of my small cramped apartment. When i returned to the apartment after about a month of camping out at the new place with just the bare necessities, opening the front door reminded just what my dépression looks like. Unfortunately, i have been struggling all of my life; 33-34 years ago after being hospitalized, i had tools to use, but i refuse the médications. For whatever reason, living in this apartment just had me " weighed down'. Asking for help is just not an option for me. I feel ashamed. Knowing i am not alone with this quiet monster that comes to visit, then settles in and then eventually takes over is a huge help. Thank you for this video. A change in my outlook is needed. I am not the monster. I am not my disease. I need to keep the monster from visiting, tho😢 One small task at a time is the way to do it. I got the old place emptied out and donated alot and am now in my new place. I am making my bed every day and do my dishes before i make my next meal. I sometimes have to have a self talk with the monster and say " No. Not today. I know you want to move in. But NO." Thank you for this video. Thank you for your help. May God bless all those struggling❤

YES they react, the fizzing is what helps to clean the clothes. Make sure you use WHITE vinegar NOT malt. The chemical reaction between sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO₃) and acetic acid (CH₃COOH) will produce carbon dioxide gas (CO₂), water (H₂O), and sodium acetate (CH₃COONa). The carbon dioxide gas is what causes the bubbling and fizzing. Below is from Chat GPT because I am lazy to type it myself. ### How They Work: - **Baking Soda (Sodium Bicarbonate)**: It's a mild abrasive, which helps scrub away grime and dirt. It's also a deodorizer, neutralizing odors. - **White Vinegar (Acetic Acid)**: It's a mild acid, which helps dissolve mineral deposits, grease, and grime. It also has antibacterial properties. ### Common Cleaning Uses: 1. **General Surface Cleaner**: - Sprinkle baking soda on surfaces like countertops or sinks. - Spray white vinegar over the baking soda. The mixture will fizz and bubble, helping to lift dirt. - Scrub with a sponge or brush, then rinse with water. 2. **Clogged Drains**: - Pour baking soda down the drain. - Follow with white vinegar. The fizzing reaction helps to break down clogs. - After the fizzing stops, flush the drain with hot water. 3. **Deodorizing Carpets**: - Sprinkle baking soda on the carpet and let it sit for a while to absorb odors. - Vacuum up the baking soda. 4. **Cleaning Grout**: - Make a paste with baking soda and a small amount of water. - Apply the paste to grout lines and spray with vinegar. - Scrub with a brush and rinse with water. 5. **Cleaning Glass and Mirrors**: - Spray white vinegar on the glass or mirror. - Wipe with a microfiber cloth for a streak-free finish. 6. **Laundry Booster**: - Add a half cup of baking soda to your laundry to help remove odors. - Use white vinegar in the rinse cycle to help soften clothes and remove soap residue. ### Safety Note: While baking soda and vinegar are safe and non-toxic, avoid mixing them in a closed container, as the reaction produces carbon dioxide gas, which can build pressure. Use them in well-ventilated areas and follow up with water to remove any residue.

Is it ok to ask a home owner to put their pet into another room when I go to clean . I am trying to start my own cleaning business and I have a great fear of especially dogs due to being bitten before. When I cleaned for another agency in the past they told me to never ask a home owner to put their pets in another room as their pets are like family. i do understand this as I have had my own dogs but I trained them so I wasn't afraid of them. I also went to one home and they forgot to leave keys so our manager told us to go over the gate in the back yard with a pitbull and another dog. Umm that was the day I quit. Although a dog may know the person when it comes to their territory it could have turned out really ugly . Anyway thanks for your input in this matter.

Contrary to the believe that cobwebs are just dust and dirt and stuff and the belief that black widows don't have predators cobwebs are actually webs done by a certain spider known as cobweb spiders and they're also enemies of black widows They actually actively hunt them down and kill them. While it is a common belief that black widow spiders have no predators, this is actually not the case. Black widows face threats from both other spiders and insects in their habitat. One predator of the black widow is the cobweb spider. Cobweb spiders are nocturnal spiders that resemble black widows in appearance, being brownish tan in color with dark spots. However, they are not actually black widows. Cobweb spiders have developed a hunting strategy where they actively seek out and capture black widows. For some evolutionary reason, cobweb spiders seem to preferentially target black widows over other spider species. At night, cobweb spiders will patrol their webs, searching for any black widows that become ensnared. Once caught, the cobweb spider will quickly overpower and consume the black widow. Another surprising predator of black widows is the mud dauber wasp. Mud daubers are solitary, ground-nesting wasps that build their nests out of mud. They are known to provision their nests by hunting spiders, including black widows, to paralyze and lay their eggs on. Mud daubers have evolved the ability to capture black widows without suffering the effects of their venom. They will sting the black widow to paralyze it, then drag it back to their nest to serve as food for the wasp larvae. This demonstrates that even insects can pose a threat to the otherwise feared black widow spider. In addition, there is a common misconception about cobwebs and what they are made of. Many people believe that cobwebs are just dirt, dust, pollen and other debris that gets stuck in messy spiderwebs. However, cobwebs are purposefully constructed structures made entirely of silk spun by cobweb spiders. Cobweb spiders weave very irregular and tangled webs that appear messy and distorted. This web structure has evolved as an effective trapping mechanism. The messy, tangled nature of the cobweb makes it very difficult for trapped insects or other spiders, such as black widows, to escape once ensnared. The cobweb spider can then easily locate and consume any prey that is caught in its web. So in reality, cobwebs serve an important predatory function for their spiders rather than just being dirty accumulations. Also the claim in this video by this woman by the way that humans can't see spider webs because they're invisible is actually a gross misconception and lie there are certain people like myself either way who can actually see every spider web whether it's thick or thin or as people call invisible Just like not all humans are allergic to venom the same goes for seeing spider webs not all humans can see them but some can just like some humans like myself are also allergic to venom including spider venom So the claim that if a spider's only venomous by the way that it's not dangerous to humans is also a false gross misconception If you are allergic to spider venom then you are allergic to all spiders.

Thank you for this. My mother died almost 2 years ago and left a lot of stuff. She had difficulty letting things go but I'm on the other end of the material item spectrum. This has helped me sort and declutter her jewelry and soon I'll tackle the other items I felt pressured into keeping. Also, similar to the frog story: I mentioned once how cute I think gnomes are and suddely everyone bought them for me for every holiday or just because. I put my foot down this year 😂

Today, whenever sometime simple works there's always the business technocrat there to quote some law to confuse US. I used to follow the law that baking soda neutralizes any acid because I know it's true; however, since so many claim the mixture works I'll try it, especially since obviously fizz means violent action plus scrubbing of the soda and the process may be accompanied by some form of heat; I'll try it.
