im not even a fashion designer i just like to make clothes, usually as stage outfits (i do circus) or for costumes, and i sew at work often bc i sit around a lot with nothing to do (work at a bar, mostly doors and the wardrobe). people ALWAYS ask if i made what im wearing currently, especially when im wearing an usual piece and like. no. the stuff i sew isn’t usually for my every day wear. it doesn’t even fit my normal style bc my stage persona is so different than me off stage. and they look at you like you disappointed them every single time too 😭
