Last night, I watched a recent documentary about Alpert: "Alpert is . . . " and it was amazing. Spoiler Alert: Albert wasn't a jerk! Other than a period where he wondered "what it was all about," he was a happy fella who did everything right and made nothing but friends. Vielen Dank fürs Aufnehmen und Hochladen dieses Albums. Ich habe die Platte damals mit etwa 8-9 Jahren Ende der 70er bekommen und sie wirklich gerne gehört. Leider ist sie irgendwann in der Nähe unseres Kachelofens geschmolzen und war damit verloren. Auch wenn mein Musikgeschmack heute definitiv ein anderer ist, musste ich seltsamerweise über die Jahre immer direkt an diese Scheibe denken, wenn ich den Sound solcher Gitarren irgendwo höre. Heute hat mich ein Lied aus einer Spotify-Playlist wieder an diese LP erinnert. Ich wusste aber bis eben nur, dass sie irgendwie "Golden Guitars" im Titel trug, eine goldene Gitarre abgebildet war und der Hintergrund blau war. Nach etwas Google-Bildersuche hatte ich den Titel der LP gefunden und bin via KZbin hier gelandet. Hätte nach all den Jahren nicht mehr erwartet, die Lieder noch einmal so hören zu können. Nochmals vielen Dank für dieses nieschige Video. Ein Hinweis noch: Hier scheint zuerst die Seite B abgespielt zu werden und anschließend Seite A. "Apache," "Tequila," und "Ghost Riders in the Sky" sind alle in der zweiten Hälfte des Videos zu hören.
