Johny Cash, a REAL human being! A man with a faith, love in his heart, for God & his fellow men! A man who suffered and knew how hard life can be! ( As a music therapist I often sing Johny's songs, many of which are positive and faith building. His last Album 'Songs from my mother's book' is a jem!) God bless you dear man. Why cant their be more like him in this selfesh world?

I'm not sure which was worse, seeing the scumbag Clintons, or hearing her ruin this famous song for me. She is proof that people will automatically think you are talented, even when you are not that good, simply because you come from a very famous family.

A great performance. But not a single African American on stage - not even in the choir. That was in 1996.

Johnny Cash has been my hero and mentor and spirit animal since I was a young girl. Being from Boston, I didn’t know anything about country music really. I was sent to a reformatory in the deep rural south when I was 13-18. I was abandoned there. It was there another inmate taught me about him and the music and that is when I knew I would survive this illegal prison for children which was a big thing back then in the south. First song I ever heard was San Quentin. As I grew older I have read every book I can find about Johnny Cash. I memorized a lot of the music. I’ve got every CD, documentaries, anything and everything. Had it not been for Johnny Cash I would have killed myself to escape the prison I was in, until his music came into my life and got me through. There’s a question I’ve always heard. If you could talk to anyone in the world one time who would it be? For me, it would be JC! He didn’t live an apology for his flaws. He lived a life instead, despite all odds landed his dream girl. Times change and people come and go. But Johnny Cash’s legend lives on forever ❤️

Not so sure about the fly away message.. it's a bit religious since so many gospel songs focus on leaving earth.
