It was mandatory in bo4 since there was no auto regen and all it did was heal you and that’s it. After that, it was just a flat out crutch for people.

Imagine if you were playing them both with the same inputs that would’ve beg a lot easier but then again the weapon could be different for both I remember someone doing Metroid fusion and zero mission with the same inputs

the starting weapon for bo2 is the m14 the one for bo3 is the rk5 one is a semi auto ar the other is a burst pistol would be interesting and probably better to watch than this but would also have some issues

the way this thing was done was by having a av switcher and having 2 options selected at the same time, it was some weird experiment i did a while ago
