The relationship of contrast sensitivity to glaucoma is an issue I learned about only recently. Its measurement could be very useful to clinicians in that field.

At what distance is this test performed at?

What about a contrast test in an environment with different ambient lighting? For example a contrast between brown and blue in the evening, or a range of visible shades of darker colors in a shade versus sunlight ?

I am currently working on a project dealing with the measurement of contrast sensitivity for an university. It's amazing how far these methods have come!
