I had a moment like this in 2001, long before Ozempic was a thing. I was 31 years old, and I got so thin that I literally had to wear Mary-Kate and Ashley underwear, because no adult underwear fit. I wasn't alarmed when I went down to a double zero in pants, but when I had to start buying kid's clothes, I knew I needed help. After I got the help and gained back to a healthier size 4, and then size 6, my usual "bubble butt" as we used to call it in the 80's, started to come back. It was only then that my husband told me he wasn't attracted to me at all, the entire time I was that thin. He said I still needed to gain some weight back, and try to stop obsessing about the number on the scale. If he had been honest about not being attracted to me at that weight, I may have gotten help sooner. It's NOT his fault, or his responsibility, but sparing my feelings was definitely not a good thing. I see people in the comments saying people are "bullying her" because they are talking about her weight. That is BACKWARD thinking. She is dangerously thin. When you're in that mental state, your mind tells you you're still fat, and you still need to lose a little more. Yet, you brag about things that should sound the alarm bells in your head, like her saying, "I can fit into my 8th grade letterman jacket." That jacket is wearing her. It's easily FOUR sizes too big, yet some of you want people to "leave her alone." You think you're being empathetic, but what you're really being is a reinforcement to her delusional thinking. You're enabling her to continue to kill herself. STOP IT! Same goes for the whole "body positivity" movement. Telling a 400 lb person not to listen to the haters, and to keep on "doing you," is the same thing as telling a depressed person not to listen to people when they tell them not to self-delete themselves!
