For those that are watching, this is the opposite of what it looks like when i went 2 weeks ago! Hate to say your experience wasnt the same because when i went it was so clean i didnt even let my cigarette or ice cream wrapper destroy its beauty, looks like you came after a tornado lol but sucks you enjoyed the opposite of what i enjoyed. The expectation vs reality review is an unfair judgement compared to what most people actually seen. Did you ask why the beach was like that? Seems not all the activities were there either so there might be a reason but it doesn't excuse them for the beach looking like this at all

The Romantic road is lovely, but also well known and can be stacked with tourists in high season. An alternative, not really a stretch of road but a community of cities with charm and a lot of half-timbered houses, is the Deutsche Fachwerkstrasse if you want ideas for other charming cities. Note that the possible queen of such cities, Goslar, is not even a member. As I am recently retired and have the time, I hiked the Romantic road, or close to it at least - no need to hike the major highway. Took two weeks but a great experience!
@TrekListАй бұрын
Thanks for the tips! Hiking it must have been great, driving felt too rushed going through some of those towns!

Its a bit too rural for me, glad you didn't express it on camera, people get a little sad when you do that especially if they are from there Everything is an experience., its good to experience extreme poverty in parts of the world. it brings you close to nature and the primitive way of life. Makes you appreciate the modern conveniences but also gives you a good vacation from them. I love the indigenous-looking people, they are truly so beautiful. Vietnam is way better than this. I'm Latin so this doesn't really impress me.

Also if ya dig and enjoyed this video and Guatemala is such a beautiful country and people and thanks for posting 😀 you may also enjoy the song " Most of All " By Glenn Kaiser and Where Roses Grow Live by Rez Band Awesome songs check them out. Also I remember hearing the song by Led Zepp " In My Time of Dyin " during my drug years and made me think about death and Jesus. Then a hippy friend that dug Jesus told me more of Jesus love and forgiveness and how I could also know Jesus love. So in 1981 I cried out to Jesus and wow man He came into my life and I had and have so much joy and peace and now know that through Jesus when I die I will be with Him in Heaven. Hey Jesus loves each of you also and yall can know Him if you are at all open. Just cry out to Him and a good question to ask yourself if you were to die today would you go to heaven ? And if yes why ? To find out more please read the Gospel of John in the Bible or check out the movie on KZbin. 😀

Why are all these videos from tourists that like to complicate themselves traveling on a buck!
@TrekList3 ай бұрын
What does that even mean? Are you asking why people travel and try to budget? We travelled for a year and a half straight and tried to experience what we could while making it last as long as we could. Is that a complicated issue for you? Why are all these comments from people who take zero time to trash something that people put effort into, and don't contribute anything positive themselves?
@PalumboCorporate3 ай бұрын
@@TrekList you complaint so much about everything in Jaco, if your on a budget that's your business but don't expect MARRIOTT LOS SUENOS TREATMENT WHERE WE HAVE THE $10 MILLION VIKINGS , FISHING TRIPS AND LUXURY REAL ESTATE. CAN I KNOW HOW MUCH YOU RENTED LESS THAN A BLOCK AWAY FROM THE BEACH?
@TrekList3 ай бұрын
And where exactly did we complain? If you watch the video closely you'll notice we're framing the town and the area in the most positive light. This whole video is a means to show people the beauty of Costa Rica. The only complaint we made was underestimating the heat and booking a place with no air conditioning and the music early in the morning which our host was nice enough to address and move us to another room, which we paid additional for. Perhaps if you're watching a video searching for things to comment on negatively, you're only focusing on the negative and not the larger picture, that might be something to reflect on.
@PalumboCorporate3 ай бұрын
@@TrekList a room without ac. bla bla bla, we need to change....bla bla bla... how much did you pay for that room 150 feet away from the water?
@TrekList3 ай бұрын
So that was it, we needed to change rooms and we're terrible people even though we blamed nobody but ourselves? We were actually very far from the ocean on the outskirts of town, so there are a lot of assumptions on your part, but you're clearly just going around being negative and projecting that on random KZbin videos, and I don't owe you any explanations so have a lovely rest of your day and I hope you find some positivity in your life!
